Multiple North American Resorts Opening Tomorrow, November 20

Several U.S. resorts, includingVail,Heavenly,Northstar,Park City, andKillington, are set to open for the 2020-21 season tomorrow, November 20. This will be the first day of the 2020-21 season for Lake Tahoe and Vermont.
It’s also worth noting that a few other East Coast resorts, most notablyOkemo,Stowe, andSugarbush, have delayed their openings due to unfavorable weather conditions. Before their announcements, each of these areas were set to open this weekend.
Access Details - Vail, Heavenly, Northstar, and Park City
At Vail, Heavenly, Northstar, and Park City, only multi-day and season passholders will have access before December 8. Due to COVID-related capacity restrictions, all visitors must book their days in advance through the Epic website.For all early season visits, reservations must be made the week of.
At the time of this writing (8pm ET on 11/19), reservations for the upcoming weekare already completely booked at Park City.Northstar’s opening weekend is completely booked, as is November 25 (Thanksgiving Eve). All dates for the upcoming week at Heavenly and Vail are still available. It’s worth noting that November 25 and 26 are holiday blackout dates for Epic Local and Summit Value Pass Holders. Week-of reservations for November 21 through November 27 will become available on November 19.
Most core season days—December 8 to April 4—are still available for each of the above mountains. Park City is booked for December 12, and Northstar is booked for both December 12 and 13. Along with week-of bookings, passholders can hold reservations for up to 7 of these days at one time.

For passholders, core-season access to Northstar is available for all dates except December 12 and 13. Many opening week dates have now been booked.
Access Details - Killington
After initially delaying to November 23, Killington has now moved its opening dateup to tomorrow.Season and Ikon passholders will have access for the resort’s opening day.
To visit Killington, guests must take a series of actions. First, out-of-state visitors must ensure adherence to Vermont’squarantine requirements.Additionally, while mountain access is unrestricted, parking is by reservation only—including for season and Ikon passholders. Reservations can be made on the resort’swebsite.
At the time of this writing, parking reservations are booked for Killington’s opening weekend, as well as for Saturday, November 27. All other dates are still open.

Killington’s parking reservations are now booked for November 21, 22, and 28.
