Indy Ski Pass Adds Snow King, White Pine, Winterplace, and Buck Hill
Updated:

According toLiftblog, the Indy Ski Pass has addedSnow King,White Pine, andWinterplacefor the 2020-21 season. We checked out Indy’s site and found that the pass also recently addedBuck Hill.
In addition to these four areas, next season’s Indy Pass will be good for up to two days at 45returning mountainsand 7other new resorts. Theoretically, passholders will now be able to ski for 112 days next season if they hit every resort on the pass.
The base Indy Pass will offer two days at each partner resortwith some blackoutsfor $199, while the Indy+ Pass will offer the same product with no blackout dates for $299. Indy says that most resorts will not have blackouts (only three do at this point), but that a final list will be posted in August.
Passes will go on sale on September 1st.
Our Take
With these additions, the Indy Pass adds two destinations in Wyoming, one in West Virginia, and one in Minnesota. Like the overwhelming majority of other destinations on the pass, these three are small, local mountains. In ourreview of Snow King, we noted that despite reasonable ticket prices, the resort is seriously outclassed by nearbyJackson Hole. However, the base pass is still a fantastic deal if you can ski four or more days next season (although splurging for the no-blackout Indy+ makes little sense to us).
It’s worth noting that the Indy Pass contains a pass assurance policy that allows for prorated 2020-21 season credits for passholders who use three or fewer days next season. For more details, check out our previous Indy Pass pieceher
